I am a Queer-Jewish educator, student, poet, and performer born and raised in Tkaronto. I’m a student at the University of Toronto studying theatre, equity studies and education and an educator and B’nei Mitzvah instructor at the Danforth Jewish Circle. I am a lover of stories, a seeker of justice and a student of Torah; I am deeply invested in the unimaginable and inevitable crip, queer, Jewish future.
Cliel Shdaimah (she/hers) @clielydefined
I am a third-year PhD at UofT student where I study queer reception of Jewish sacred texts with a focus on narratives regarding the body. I am a grade 8 teacher at a non-denominational shul in Toronto and an educator in local adult Jewish learning spaces. Out side of class/work I am an artist and lover of handcraft projects; I am a new X-files fan and a hardcore journaler.
